These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TightShip, a web application operated at runtightship.com. By creating an account or using TightShip, you agree to these Terms.
TightShip is a job management tool designed for solo service operators. It provides customer management, job scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and related features. The service is provided "as is" and we continually work to improve it.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free trial.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into TightShip, including customer information, job details, quotes, and invoices. We do not claim any ownership over your data. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you store in TightShip, including ensuring you have appropriate consent to store your customers' contact information.
TightShip offers a 14-day free trial. After your trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Subscription fees are billed monthly. You can cancel your subscription at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
TightShip does not process, facilitate, or intermediate payments between you and your customers. The invoicing feature displays your payment method handles (Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, etc.) so your customers can pay you directly. TightShip is not responsible for any payment disputes between you and your customers. All transactions occur entirely outside of TightShip.
You agree not to use TightShip for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its related systems.
We strive to keep TightShip available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service downtime.
TightShip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted after a reasonable retention period.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of TightShip after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
